Great trip and lots fun

As school was almost over, it was time to pack our luggage and hit the road. We went to a lot of different places, including, Rocky mountains NP, Arches NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Capital Reef NP, Yosemite NP, Sequoia NP, and Kings Canyon NP. We also saw a lot of nice places like, Las Vegas, and LA. This year my brother, Yannick went with us, we did a lot of hikes and camped together. We saw a lot of wild life, like Elk's, Squirrels, Chipmonks, and a lot of Bears, that were walking just passed the path, on our hikes.

Here are some pictures which we took:

A few weeks later my sister left to go to the Netherlands and France for a several weeks. I sure wanted to come with but I couldn't cause I had tournaments to play. I did good in my tournament playing a level higher and winning some. On July,27 until August 1st, I had to go to Omaha (Nebraska) for my first zonals team tournament. It was amazing we had a very nice Hotel, the courts were beautiful, we had to be on the court at 7am to practice and at 8 it was time for matches. We had to play two matches a day, singles & doubles. I won 7/9 of my matches, not loosing any doubles matches. Doubles was cool, My partner Nikita Snechko, would wear the same clothes as me and our team all got a medal at he end. Our two coaches, Bruce & Ryan were awesome, they got to coach me during matches and helped me on and off he court.

Amazing week

On April 9, 10 and 11 came, I had the most amazing week of my life.

I went to the Festival of the North here in Minneapolis to see Martina Navratilova and Lindsey Davenport.

Navratilova has won 18 grand slam titles and 9 of those were at Wimbledon. Lindsey Davenport has won 3 grand slam titles and also played doubles just like Martina.

They had to play a match on April 10 as I went to to see them play. They had a fast service so Navritalova was probably going to serve and volley. It was a close match as Navritalova won 6-3. It was pretty amazing how she can volley. She picks the ball of the ground for a clear winner.

Wheaton was there too, as I got to hit a ball with him for a few minutes. I got to hit with him because I was helping with cleaning up the court and preparing water for the match.

I got everybody's signature and had a lot of fun.

Here are some pictures:

Two weeks after that I had a tennis tournament. It was a boys 12 and under at the baseline tennis center.
My first match was in the round of 16 vs Simon Guzan. He is a good player, last time I played him was when I beat him 6-1/6-1. But in the way he played now I nkew it was going to be hard. I took everything out of me that I could as I made a 6-4/6-2 victory. I was happy about my match because even though I won I had a though match.

In the Quarterfinals I had to play Samuel hochberger. He had a three sets in the previous round so he was probably tired. Last time I played him I won 6-3/6-0. I didn't find it too hard as I beat him with a big 6-0/6-3 win.

In the semi-final I had to play a really good player Jake Kuhlman. The #2 seed hit with a lot of power as I could not win and lost 2-6/3-6. Well now I have to play for 3rd place.

When I was playing for 3rd I had to play #3 seated Sebastian Vile. I have played him a couple of times in a double and only once in a single when I lost 2-6/2-6. But today he was too strong for me and won 2-6/1-6. It was to obad because I made the fault or he scored.

Well I had a great tournament,
So see you then my fans

Tournament

WHAT'S UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This weekend I had another Tennis tournament. It was at Baseline and it was the biggest tournament I ever played. It was a level 7, boys 14 singles.

First I had to play Jackson Kelner in the round of 64. I played a good match, maide a few mistakes but won 6-0/6-2. It was a good match to get in the round of 32.

My second match was vs Austin Nichols. I never played him but I still rolled over him and won
6-0/6-0. Now I have to play the #8 seed in the rounf of 16.

In the round of 16, I had to play the #8 seed David R. Wilton. I had another good match and won
6-2/6-3. Now the qf.

In the qf. it was getting harder. I had to play Max D. Melin. I had to play hard and let him made the fault so I did and won 6-0/6-1. I won by a lot but played an awesome match, to get in the semi-final.

In the semi-final I had to play the #5 seed Matt G. Tropsha. He was a lot older and taller so he also had more power than me. I played a good match, but it was too bad I had to lose in the semi-final 3-6/1-6.

I had busy week, and I had a good tournament.

I also got to play outside again on March 23. My dad and I played for 2 hours with SNOW on the side of the court, and a FROZEN lake next to us.

My B-day is on Saturday this week too.

So let's HAVE FUN.

See you then my Fans. Floyd
