Top 16 Tournament

This week, January 29, I had another tennis tournament. It was my first top 16 tourmament. That means you sign in and the highest 16 people that are ranked get to play it. A few days later I got an e-mail that said I was high enough to play the tournament.

First up I had to play Davis Olson. I really wanted to win so that I would get a lot of points and start the tournament in a good way. The first set we played 8 games 7 out of 8 where all in a deuce. It was a really close match and I won 6-3 6-0. Then, I had to play Nicholas Beaty.

Now I had to play Nicholas Beaty. He wins everything and is very fast on the court. I have never played him but today I was finally going to play him. We had some wonderful points but it was to bad I lost 2-6 3-6. Although I lost it was still on of the best matches I had ever played.

Now it was my last chance to to do something in this tournament. I had to play Logan J. Pepperl he hits everything back so it's really hard to make a winner on him. I played oke but I lost 1-6 2-6. It was too bad that I didn't win but I had a lot of fun and won a lot of points. Now I will train really hard to win another tournament.

Arizona

HAPPY NEW YEAR

2010,

For winter break I and my family went to Arizona for 2 weeks. We did a lot of hiking and played a lot of tennis. We did 3 superstition mountains and the Camel Back. We stayed at our friend house that is in Scootsdale AR. with a beautiful pool and hot-tub. The hot-tub is very warm and the pool is very cold. First I went in the bubble bath for 5 minutes and in the cold for 3 minutes and then back in the warm.
When we were hiking we saw a lot of cactuses and a Skunk in the middle of the road.
I had a cool and relaxed
Christmas and a
happy new year.

We also played a lot of tennis outside with 67 degrees f. We did some forehands some backhands and some volleys and overhead to train for my next tournament on January, 8, 2010. Then we drove back from Arizoma to Minnesota were it was -7 degrees f. Now School started again and I have a lot of tournaments coming up.
